Raimondi

Raimondi is a manufacturer based in Modena, Italy that is passionate about innovating the tile setting industry. Currently available are the Raimondi RLS 100 Piece Starter Kit with 1/16 Inch Clips and the Raimondi RLS Vite with 1/16 Inch Clips and Caps leveling systems. Leveling systems are used to prevent tile lippage, the term used to describe the tiles when they are not laid in a uniform level. Lippage is considered poor workmanship, and can be a tripping hazard. The Raimondi RLS 100 Piece Starter Kit with 1/16 Inch Clips system is used by placing clips along the four edges of the tile between the tile and adhesive. Once the tile is set, wedges are inserted into the clips to hold the tiles in place. With the Raimondi RLS Vite with 1/16 Inch Clips and Caps system, clips are placed along the four edges of the tile between the tile and adhesive. Once the tiles are set, they are held in place by placing and turning the caps along the thread until they reach the tile. Once the mortar has dried (at least 24 hours), the systems can be easily removed by pliers, a rubber mallet, or simply knocking them down with your feet.
