Description

The CertainTeed SmartFab 500 Stitchbond Polyester is a flexible, close knit reinforcement fabric that is used as flashing. This roof fabric is used with the SmartCoat liquid applied roofing systems and the SmartCoat SmartFlash One. It has excellent elongation, making it durable during rooftop thermal expansion and contraction. This polyester roofing fabric is suitable for use on smooth or semi-smooth surfaces such as cap sheet, filled or spudded gravel, and irregular shapes. The CertainTeed SmartFab 500 Stitchbond Polyester may require light brooming to ensure good embedment and to remove any air pockets.
